C-17s from JBER, McChord, Travis, and Hickam trained at night near Anchorage as part of Large Package Week, formerly known as Jump Week. Each aircraft deployed countermeasure flares, dropped heavy equipment as well as 600 USARAK soldiers at the Malamute Drop Zone. Video by Airman 1st Class Carly Kavish.

I had a similar thought. It's a great show, but it's also a lot of money and a lot of work for somebody.
